Vehtek, a division of Magna International, provides a comprehensive range of body, chassis, and engineering solutions to the automotive industry. The company recently completed a 350,000 SF, multi-phase expansion of their Bowling Green metal forming and stamping facility. IPS served as the General Contractor on two major phases of the expansion. 

Phase II IPS was commissioned to design and construct a new a 15,000 SF expansion to include a 20-ft-deep press pit and tunnel. IPS managed construction for site paving, concrete foundations, floors, a pre-engineered metal building, power wiring, and piping. IPS also relocated a 2,000-ton press from an existing plant in Iowa to this new expansion in Bowling Green.

Phase III involved the construction of a 50,000 SF high-bay manufacturing facility for 60 robotic welding assembly cells and automotive part manufacturing. IPS was the design builder on this phase, performing all aspects including site, concrete, mechanical, electrical, and machine installation.
