IPS was chosen as the design-build contractor for the new 9,061 square-foot administration building. This will be an addition to the existing 499,900 manufacturing facility.

The admin building will include:

•  offices
• operation & maintenance / mechanical room
• health & safety room
• locker rooms (will also be storm shelters)
• breakroom
• training rooms

Since the main manufacturing facility will maintain current operations, our team is coordinating logistics with Pro-Tec for minimal disruptions. IPS is responsible for the sitework/concrete, building erection, mechanical, electrical/data, and interior finishes. A challenge the team had was designing the draining system. With such flat ground, we had to make necessary adjustments so the site will drain correctly.
