The gasket failed on Linde’s process gas boiler (PBG) at the Oregon location. IPS’ pipefitters & boilermakers were sent to the site to rig the head off the boiler to be able to fully assess the problem. The boiler was 6 feet in diameter and weighted around 8,000 lbs.

Our pipefitters & boilermakers worked for roughly 1 week around the clock to get the problem solved. Once fixed, the head was rigged back onto the boiler with minimal disruptions to the process.
