Responsibilities Qualifications
  • Ensure all safety compliance and quality programs are being executed on your project site
  • Actively participate in the bidding/preconstruction phase
  • Represent IPS as the client’s primary contact
  • Communicate with all parties involved – owner, architects, engineers, subcontractors
  • Manage performance of support personnel on site (project engineer/superintendent)
  • Maintain strict control over the budget and keep the project on schedule, ensuring ongoing profitability
  • Execute subcontracts and purchase orders, approve subcontractor invoices and chance order requests
  • Mentor & train project engineers/assistant project managers to ensure continuous growth
  • Actively participate in committees (ex. safety, quality control, lean construction)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction operations experience working in various general commercial building markets
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • Ability to travel occasionally to project sites as needed

  • Ability to construct a critical path project schedule using scheduling software
