The Health Care REIT acquired the former headquarters of the Dana Corporation in Toledo sited on 166 acres. The original 1970’s era structure has been transformed into a modern state-of-the-art facility designed to embody the goals of the Corporation by creating a comfortable workplace conductive to creative thinking and collaboration.

This building is only one of nine LEED Platinum Buildings, out of 212 LEED Certified buildings in the state. The building’s energy consumption is monitored and controlled through real-time metering and automatic controls. Combined, these features greatly reduce the overall energy, water, and electricity consumption – in addition to a 78% reduction of construction waste and a 100% reduction of potable water for irrigation.

IPS was the mechanical contractor that performed all mechanical system upgrades including HVAC, piping, boiler work and all plumbing.
