New Maintenance Facility & Pipeline Upgrades
Midwest Terminal - Toledo,Ohio
The Toledo Port Authority worked with IPS and the end user of this facility, Midwest Terminal to construct a new building and upgrades to the site.
One project was a 15,000 SF pre-engineered maintenance facility for Midwest Terminals, who will be the one occupying the space. The project included an office area overlooking the maintenance bay, bathroom facilities, and an electrical/mechanical room.
Another project included upgrades to the pipeline encasements to provide an approved secondary containment for the pipeline. The pipeline improvement ran between Midwest Terminal’s barge and rail offloading areas at the Port off Toledo. IPS performed the DOT piping upgrade work and constructed an LPG Rail to truck trans-loading facility. IPS self-performed all equipment sets, structural steel, piping, and electrical. The equipment set included the compressor skid and all associated pumps.
